A Love Story

The Beatles at the Cavern Club

Pattie BoydHello there, I'm Fritzi - the author of these hopefully delightful corrections of short writty.

I'm old enough to remember a time when everyone would code their own websites and add so many blinkies. On the other hand I'm too young to have seen The Beatles live in concert.

I do love the 50s and 60s and like the girl I'm a baby Beatnik. Graphic design and the small web are my passion. I also play the guitar. And sometimes I play the fool.

If I had a time machine, I'd go back and see The Beatles at the Star-Club in Hamburg in '62. Or Shea Stadium '65... but only with a backstage pass.

GROOVY See Fritzi do the Watusi!

I'd be delighted if you visited my other websites - a webring & clique for all lovers of the 60s and my collection of everything nice. I occasionally post on status.cafe, too.

This website is hosted on Neocities and uses JavaScript for displaying images in a lightbox and a visitor counter. All other scripts on this site are cobbled and stitched 🪡 together by me.

The idea for this layout design was inspired by the work of Repth.

Everything is handcoded in CotEditor, up to semantic HTML5 & CSS3 standard with the help of W3Schools and mdn_. The layout is fully responsive and mobile-friendly.

Freeformatter is my trusty tool to make everything truly beautiful in case someone takes a look at my source code. For all HTML entities and symbols I refer to (◕⏝◕).

I design the Polaroids & magazine clippings on my iPad with the rather old but fabulous apps Rhonna Design & Rhonna Collage. The website buttons were created with Pixilart and my beloved ancient touch pen.

John and the girl's adventures come to life inside Notes app because it feels more intimate to type close to my face. However, proofreading is done on my MacBook.

And yes, I use a John Lennon, Paul McCartney and a George Harrison handwriting font as well as the Bootle font. Also, there's this gorgeous Guyon Gazebo font and a jazzy Stereofidelic one. Everything else can be found on Google Fonts.

The AO3 SVG is from tabler.
